News Release:

Lincoln Under Care (LUC) begins their third year cleaning up and painting over graffiti around Lincoln. Monthly paint-outs are planned for the 4^th Saturday of each month April thru October.

Several spots of graffiti were painted over in the Everett , Near South, Downtown and in Clinton & Hartley neighborhoods in 2009. LUC is able to assist property owners who are in need of help to get the work done in a timely manner. Many times, getting graffiti covered quickly helps to deter additional graffiti in areas that get “tagged” frequently.

LUC is an all-volunteer organization that relies on donations and the time of volunteers. To report new graffiti or other vandalism call the police non-emergency number, 441-6000. To get assistance from LUC in painting over graffiti on your property or to volunteer (individuals and small groups are welcome) during our next “Paint-Out”, please contact  Donations of money, paint and painting supplies are accepted year-round by contacting ;
